From Timeline view one can export the timeline or filtered data as a clip, FCP XML Sequence or as an asset. Her are things which are possible right now:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Export a Video Sub-clip Clip from a Timeline or based on the filtered values.<\/li>
Create a new Asset from Timeline.<\/li>
Export\/Download FCP XML Sequence.<\/li>
Create FCP XML Sequence Asset.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
All the above mentioned features are available from Timeline view Clip<\/em> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Activate Clip Panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Login to Webclient<\/li>
Open a Video asset.<\/li>
Click on the Clip Button on the left side bar.<\/li>
See the below given image for reference. Clip button is circled.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Create a Sub-clip from a Video<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes, users want to download a sub clip from large video, for the sharing purpose or for the linking purpose. From timeline view, sub clips can be downloaded<\/em> or a new asset<\/em> can be created without downloading them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Follow the below given steps to download sub clip from a video:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Activate the Clip panel by clicking on it. See the above image for reference. Note:<\/strong> Clip Panel can be activated by Pressing the C<\/strong> on the keyboard.<\/em><\/li>
You will notice the timeline view gets changed and you will be presented with start<\/em> and end<\/em> markers. Markers will allow you to select the in time and out time for the sub-clip.<\/li>
Select your desired range. See the below given image for reference.<\/li>
Click on the given options based on your need.<\/li>
All the clip options are explained later in this article.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\nDownload Sub Clip from Video<\/span><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Create Clip from Timelines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Clip or asset can be exported from a given timeline or from it’s filtered values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Toggle the Create from Data Timelines<\/em> switch to enable this option.<\/li>
Select the Timeline name.
Click on the filter<\/em> button and provide the matching values which you want to include in the clip or for other exports.<\/li>
Note:<\/strong> The whole Timeline is exported if no filter is provided.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
Click on the relevant export button to export the clip or XML or create a new asset from the timeline.<\/li>

Understanding the Download Options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Download Clip<\/strong> – Downloads the sub clip from assets in the MP4 format.<\/li>
Create New Asset<\/strong> – Instead of downloading the sub clip MP4, ingest the sub clip on the Zoom server in the same directory where the original asset is present.<\/li>
Download XML Sequence<\/strong> – Downloads the FCP XML sequence with Timeline data. This FCP XML sequence can be imported in a Prepro project.<\/li>
Create XML Sequence Asset<\/strong> – Instead of downloading the FCP XML sequence, ingest the XML sequence file on the Zoom server in the same directory where the original asset is present. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
